Appleby Rose Red Ochre is is stained with rusty red iron. Similar to Appleby Red Georgian Brick although a lot finer.
Suitable in all mediums and like most natural ochres is opaque and lightfast.
In the painted hand painted swatch card it is last in the top row.
Each vial contains approximately 10g of refined pigment and measures 22 x 75mm. The vials also make a fine gift for anybody that is an artist.
