Cobalt Pigments

A range of Cobalt pigments that include historic blues based on medieval blue glass, and used as glazes on fine Chinese porcelain alongside contemporary cobalt pigments heated with other metals.

These pigments are suitable for all medium and ceramics stable and lightfast although quite expensive compared to many other pigments.

Cobalt pigments tend to granulate in Watercolours. As an oil paint it requires less oil than most other pigments and dries fairly quickly. To discover more about the story behind Colbalt Pigments click here
