Soulby Red Ochre is a clay stained with rusty red iron. It is the brownest of the red ochres in this series and very noticeable as a masstone.
Suitable in all mediums and like all natural ochres is opaque and lightfast.
In the painted hand painted swatch card it is in the top row middle.
Each vial contains approximately 10g of refined pigment and measures 22 x 75mm. The vials make a fine gift or souvenir for anybody that is an artist.
