On the banks of England's largest lake, Ullswater we have found a soft yellow sandstone that turns into a beautiful rich pale yellow.
The yellow ochres are clays stained with iron oxide better known as rust.
Suitable in all mediums and like most natural ochres is opaque and lightfast.
Each vial contains approximately 10g of refined pigment and measures 22 x 75mm. The vials also make a fine gift or souvenir for anybody that is an artist.
